This site is here so we can share our progress as we work on restoring Rose Hill.  You can find lots of photos of “The Farm” here, which will be updated often.  Check out the Photo Albums to see photos we’ve taken here that go back several years all the way up to last weekend.

   There is a lot of work going on here right now (October 2007).  New gutters, electrical wiring, plumbing and an all new heating system are all being installed.  The master bath has been completely gutted and is about to be fitted with all new fixtures.  And the smoke house has been converted from a store room to a workshop with electricity and a new cement floor.  Some other recent work that has gone into the house includes a brand new roof, including having the chimneys rebuilt from the roof-line up. 

   There is also a lot of heavy-duty landscaping going on.  Countless trees that do not belong here have been cut down, weeds mowed down, and a few large gardens were started.  Need some tomatoes?  A brick walkway that encircles the entire house has even been excavated.
